…cabin resort area situated just south of  Lillehammer at the lake Mjøsa – in Norway.

All year destination and with all activities available…….

- 'Kvit' means white for our guaranteed white winter and
- 'Sand' for the beach during summertime.

Kvitsand is a new, trend setting cabin resort area with comprehensive far-sighted planning. The principal planning criteria being that every plot/cabin will have lake view and maximum sun-hours. Further they will have easy access to a variety of facilities and amenities all year round and for all age groups. There will be a variety of cabin types and sizes to choose from.

Autumn 2012 will see the completion of the infrastructure to allow for the first batch of 21 cabins to be constructed. The next section for development will be marketed in the near future, allowing for a carefully planned expansion of the whole site, including the lakeside, in several phases. This plan is well accepted among Norwegian planners, and our planning methods is now being used in the new handbook for cabin area planning. The fixed prices are all available upon request and represent excellent value in the current market.

Kvitsand is nestled next to the water in a protected sweep of land on the 'sunny side' of lake Mjøsa, only 10km from the famous Olympic area at Lillehammer. Mjøsa has much of the feel of a fjord, being 400m deep and 110km long. Some of the world's largest trout have been caught in the lake. This is an area where mountain and fjord are close neighbours.

The E6 runs along the other side of the lake, connecting Trondheim to Oslo and beyond. It is a 2hr drive from Oslo and 90mins from Gardermoen airport. Upon completion of the four lane highway from Oslo to the lake area, travel time will be further reduced. An intercity train service will be operational by 2023, thereby reducing the train link to Oslo to only 1hr. At present, there is a train service with 2-2,5hr travel time.

Our brochure outlines some of the activities available to the cabins, and it is important to note that this is an all year round facility with very definite seasons. The land is protected by Norwegian Conservation regulations and the old sawmill buildings on the site will be harmoniously converted to house a restaurant, bakery, pub and so on. 5 small cities are available in 10 – 30 minutes distance.

Cabins can be purchased completely furnished or you can start with a bare plot of land. A building plot will have road, water, drains and electrics supplied to the site and starts from 515,000 NOK.
If you prefer to open the door to a fully finished cabin – ask for an offer and cooperation.

All the cabins have two parking lots, and are constructed with state-of-the-art insulation and heat preserving technology. The customer has considerable sway over decor and finishing, furniture and inventory within the fixed purchase price.
